Meta is reportedly rolling out a trio of new subscription offerings, with WhatsApp Plus joined by Facebook Plus and Instagram Plus plans.

Features

Instagram Plus

Subscribers gain access to a range of extra tools, including:

• View aggregate rewatch counts for Stories.
• Create unlimited audience lists for Stories beyond the “Close Friends” option.
• Spotlight a Story once a week for additional views.
• Extend a Story beyond the standard 24‑hour limit.
• Preview a Story without appearing as a viewer.
• Search the Story viewer list to see who is watching.
• Post directly to the profile and Highlights without appearing in followers’ feeds.
• Super Heart animated reactions for Stories.
• Custom app icons.
• Customizable fonts for profile bios.
• Additional pins for the profile.

Facebook Plus

Facebook Plus offers a similar set of features to Instagram Plus, mirroring the enhancements listed above.

Rollout and availability

Meta has not yet published a complete feature list for each subscription, but additional “fun features” are expected over time, according to Meta’s head of product Naomi Gleit.

The new subscription plans are rolling out globally, though the launch may occur in stages. Users should see the option to subscribe directly inside the Facebook or Instagram app once it becomes available.
