Following an initial preview at CES 2026 earlier this year, the Clicks Communicator is getting an update regarding its software support, chipset, and the physical keyboard layouts it will support.

As a quick recap, the Clicks Communicator is another attempt at the BlackBerry‑style form factor: a smaller display paired with a full physical keyboard. The Android‑powered device is positioned as a secondary smartphone focused on messaging.

This week, a few key details have been confirmed:

Keyboard layouts

Clicks says the Communicator will be sold with a standard QWERTY layout, as well as French (AZERTY), German (QWERTZ), Korean, and Arabic variants for global markets.

Hardware

Under the hood, the Clicks Communicator will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8300. Clicks states that the chip will deliver a “fast, responsive experience, with performance to spare.”

Software updates

The device will receive five years of security updates and will be supported with major OS upgrades through Android 20, roughly until 2029.

Early access

The early‑access period has been extended through March 15, and customers can place a reservation to lock in a $399 “early bird” price.
