I saw the Nothing Phone 4a in every color at MWC - and these two are my favorite

Nothing is set to launch its Phone 4a series in London at the “Built Different” event on March 5. Two phones are expected: the 4a and the 4a Pro. While the 4a has been teased, the 4a Pro remains a mystery. Ahead of the March 5 unveil, the company showcased the base Phone 4a at MWC 2026.

A color for everyone
You’ll be able to purchase the Phone 4a in black, blue, pink, and white. This is the first time the blue and black versions have been seen, complementing the previously shown pink variant.
The blue version features a vibrant shade, while the pink comes in a pastel hue. The black and white models are more subtle and may appeal to a broader audience. The white, blue, and pink versions have a silver camera module, whereas the black variant features a color‑matched camera housing.

Same design language, with a new look
Nothing retains its design language but adds a transparent window that showcases the internals. The Phone 4a sports a pill‑shaped camera bump in the top middle, with an off‑center flash above it surrounded by a ring of coils color‑matched to each model.
You still get the signature Glyph Interface, now with a bar of six square lights and an extra red recording light. Each square contains nine mini‑LED lights that can be customized. Nothing says this design is less distracting than the lights on the Phone 3a series.
The red square light is borrowed from the Nothing Phone 3 and doubles as a functional recording indicator. Each colorway has silver side buttons, including the Essential Key.

What about the Phone 4a Pro?
Nothing has not yet revealed the first look of the Phone 4a Pro. Questions remain about whether it will be more powerful or have a better camera system. We’ll have to wait until March 5 for details.
