Sajoo, a global artificial intelligence (AI)-based direct and reverse purchase platform, announced that it has hired Heejae Jeong as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

CFO Jeong Hee‑jae is recognized as a strategic expert with a deep understanding of not only management and finance but also IT technology. He graduated from Seoul National University’s Department of Electrical and Information Engineering, earned an MBA from the University of Michigan, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

With over 16 years of experience in business development and mergers and acquisitions (M&A), he served as a Principal at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in the U.S., where he developed growth strategies for companies in deep‑tech sectors such as edge computing and cloud computing. He subsequently led M&A and new‑business expansion efforts at global IT companies such as Krafton and Amazon.

Sajoo is a global AI‑based direct and reverse purchase platform headquartered in Japan, currently operating in Korea and Japan. It utilizes AI technology to reduce the complexity of overseas direct and reverse purchase processes and provide a shopping experience similar to domestic online shopping. Core features include:

• Automatic calculation of additional costs such as customs fees, duties, and shipping costs.
• Localization of product information and purchase options simply by entering a URL.

チョン・ヒジェCFOは、経営と財務だけでなくIT技術全般に対する理解度を持つ戦略専門家として評価される。ソウル大学電気・情報工学部を卒業し、米国ミシガン大学で経営学修士（MBA）を取得し、公認財務分析士（CFA）資格を保有している。

事業開発及び買収合併（M&A）分野で16年以上のキャリアを積んだ彼は、米国ボストンコンサルティンググループ（BCG）でプリンシパルとして在職し、エッジコンピューティングとクラウドコンピューティングなどディープテック分野企業の成長戦略樹立プロジェクトを行った。以後、クラフトンや米国アマゾンなどグローバルIT企業でM&Aと新規事業の拡張を主導した。
