New Home Icon in Chrome 145
Chrome 145 is now rolling out on Android with a refreshed Home icon that appears to the left of the Omnibox. The new icon is sharper, drops the curved corners, and features a roof that’s flush with the side of the house plus a door. This style has already been live on desktop Chrome for some time.

If you prefer a slightly wider address bar, you can remove the icon. Go to Settings > Homepage to disable it entirely, or switch from the New Tab Page to a custom web address.
(On desktop, tap “Customize Chrome” in the bottom‑right corner of the New Tab Page for “Toolbar” to make changes.)
This is the main user‑facing change in Chrome 145 for Android.
