There’s been loads of speculation about when the next‑generation MacBook Pros with high‑end Apple Silicon will launch. Many expected a January release, but that month passed without an announcement. The only clue so far is that the new models will debut alongside macOS 26.3, which is expected to become publicly available in the coming days.

Because macOS 26.3 must be released before macOS 26.4, the MacBook Pros need to launch sometime before the public rollout of macOS 26.4. However, despite the imminent arrival of macOS 26.3, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman indicates that the MacBook Pro launch is not as immediate as the OS update.
