TL;DR

  • Nothing is rolling out cloud storage for Essential Space.
  • Cloud storage is available for all 2025 and 2026 Nothing and CMF phones that support Essential Key.
  • Manage your storage via Essential Space > Profile > Storage > Backup.

New Cloud Storage Feature

Nothing’s Essential Space app—used for capturing audio notes, photos, and more—is receiving an update that adds cloud storage. The update allows you to back up your captures and sync them with your Nothing account, keeping your content secure and accessible across supported devices.

Compatibility

The feature is supported on:

  • All 2025 and 2026 Nothing phones
  • CMF phones that support Essential Key

Cloud storage is not available on older Nothing devices.

Enabling the Feature

The update should roll out automatically. If it doesn’t appear, you can manually update Essential Space through the Google Play Store. Once the update is installed, manage your cloud storage by navigating to:

Essential Space > Profile > Storage > Backup

Security and Privacy

Nothing uses Google’s cloud infrastructure for this feature. Consequently, your data:

  • Is handled in line with GDPR requirements
  • Is protected by Google’s cloud security standards
