Connected Cameras
The Connected Cameras feature, originally released a year ago, now works with supported camera applications and DSLRs (UVC‑supported devices) via cable. It is available on Pixel 6 phones and newer.
Desktop‑Style Experiences
Android 16 QPR3 brings desktop‑like experiences when you connect an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse:
- Desktop, multi‑window experience on Pixel 8 phones and newer with USB DisplayPort out.

Gemini Automation
As announced with the Galaxy S26, the Pixel 10 series (10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL) are getting Gemini automation. This task‑assistance can be used to book rides, order food, or groceries. Gemini launches the relevant app in a secure window, then taps, scrolls, and types to fulfill the request. You can watch the process in real time or let it run in the background with notification updates. The operation can be halted at any time, and you’ll be prompted to confirm the final purchase or booking.
