TL;DR
- Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro features have surfaced online ahead of this week’s launch.
- An outlet corroborated previous reports regarding head gestures and Find My Phone functionality.
- The earbuds can also be used as a remote shutter for the phone’s camera app.
New Features
Head gestures
The Galaxy Buds 4 Pro will support head gestures, allowing you to nod or shake your head to trigger actions such as:
- Answering or declining a call
- Responding “yes” or “no” to Bixby prompts
- Hearing notifications aloud or silencing them
- Dismissing alarms, timers, calendar alerts, and reminders
Remote camera shutter
You can pinch and hold a stem on the earbuds to act as a remote shutter button in the camera app. This is handy when the phone is on a tripod or in Flex Mode (e.g., on a Galaxy Z Flip) for group photos or videos.
Case Design Tweaks
An updated render shows the back of the charging case with:
- A single USB‑C port
- A pairing button (no built‑in speaker as previously rumored)
Find My Phone via the Case
Double‑tapping the pairing button while both earbuds are inside the case will ring the paired phone, helping you locate it.
Launch Details
Samsung will officially unveil the Galaxy Buds 4 series alongside the Galaxy S26 phones at its Unpacked event on Wednesday.
