MacBook Neo Can Only Drive One External Display at 4K 60Hz
Source: MacRumors
Apple’s new low‑cost MacBook Neo is equipped with the A18 Pro chip that Apple first used in the iPhone 16 Pro, making it the first Mac with an A‑series processor.

External Display Support
The MacBook Neo supports a single external display with a 4K resolution at 60 Hz. It will not work with the new 5K Studio Display or Studio Display XDR, but it is compatible with affordable USB‑C 4K monitors from manufacturers such as LG, Dell, and Samsung.
Ports and Connectivity
- The device has two USB‑C ports. Only one of them supports DisplayPort 1.4 for an external monitor.
- The correct port is the USB 3 port closest to the rear of the laptop.
- There is no Thunderbolt support, which is why the MacBook Neo cannot drive multiple displays or connect to the Studio Display via Thunderbolt.
A second display might be possible using a third‑party DisplayLink adapter, as has been done with other Macs that have display limitations, though this has not been tested.
Built‑in Display
The MacBook Neo features a 13‑inch Retina display with a native resolution of 2408 × 1506 at 219 ppi. When an external 4K monitor is connected, the Mac can drive both screens at their full native resolutions.
