One of my first stops on Day 4 of Computex 2026 was the Hyte booth at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, next to the 1,600‑plus‑ft Taipei 101 tower. Hyte showcased a range of new products aimed at delivering value without sacrificing the aesthetic that defines the Y‑Series.

Hyte Y50 Mid‑Tower Chassis

The Y50 is a slightly smaller sibling of the popular Y70, retaining the Y‑Series hallmarks while modernizing the platform. It is positioned as the budget‑friendly option, priced under $100.

  • Design – The Y50 features a three‑panel tempered‑glass front, side, and top, with a step‑down side‑fan layout that provides extra clearance for radiators.
  • Colorways – Available in Snow White, Pitch Black, Black Cherry, Strawberry Milk, and Taro Milk (the same palette as the Y70 Touch).
  • Compatibility – Supports up to E‑ATX motherboards, including rear‑connect models from Asus, MSI (Project Zero), and Gigabyte (Stealth), as well as large graphics cards.
  • Fans – Comes with a single FA120 RGB fan on the rear and a new FA120 RGB fan on the side.

Hyte also introduced an aesthetic cable accessory kit that matches the chassis colorways, priced at $69.99 (available July).

Power Connectors

  • 24‑pin ATX motherboard power
  • Dual 8‑pin EPS connectors for the CPU
  • One 12‑V 2×6 cable

New Fan Offerings

Hyte displayed several new fan models, each targeting different performance and visual preferences.

FA12 Series

  • FA12 Solo – A single 25 mm thick fan.
  • FA12 Unibody 360 mm – A three‑fan frame that can be configured with traditional or reverse‑style blades.

Both variants are PWM‑controlled, reaching up to 1,500 RPM, delivering 70 CFM at 1.5 mm H₂O static pressure, and operating at a maximum of 33 dBA. Pricing: $24.99 for the trio or $29.99 for a 4‑pack of singles.

THICC FR12 Trio

  • Features a 360° ring of frosted RGB lighting around all three fans.
  • Thickness: 32 mm, increasing static pressure to 4.4 mm H₂O and airflow to 57.14 CFM at up to 1,900 RPM.

Pricing: $44.99 for the trio, $19.99 for a single fan.

ARGB Noodle LN80

  • An addressable RGB “noodle” cable designed to complement the fan lighting.
  • Price: $29.99.

Prototype AIO

  • A 360 mm all‑clear unibody AIO cooler prototype was shown.
  • Not yet finalized (square vs. circular block cover) and pending market feedback.
  • Target launch: Q4 2026 with an anticipated price of $99.

Nexus 3.0 Software Update

Hyte announced a major overhaul of its Nexus software:

  • Nexus 3.0 is built from the ground up with a web‑based GUI, reducing resource usage by roughly 75 % while retaining full functionality.
  • The new version runs on macOS, Linux, Windows, and can be accessed from a phone via QR code.
  • Public beta is planned for Q3 2026, with a gradual transition from Nexus 2.0 thereafter.
