Google on Thursday unveiled its new Fitbit Air, a screenless wearable priced at $100. Designed for users who find other wearables bulky, complicated, or expensive, the Fitbit Air is marketed as “simple, affordable and comfortable enough to wear 24/7.”

- Health tracking: 24/7 heart‑rate monitoring, heart‑rhythm monitoring with AFib alerts, blood‑oxygen level, resting heart rate, heart‑rate variability, sleep stages and duration.
- Automatic activity detection: The device automatically tracks common activities and workouts, personalizing the experience over time as it learns your habits.
- Google Health app: Health and fitness data are accessed through the Google Health app, the rebranded Fitbit App launched alongside the device.
Design and Specs
- Size: 25 % smaller than the Fitbit Luxe and 50 % smaller than the Inspire 3.
- Weight: 12 g with the band, 5.2 g without the band.
- Battery: Up to one week of battery life; fast charging provides a full day of power in just five minutes.
- Water resistance: Rated to 50 meters.
- Compatibility: Pairs with the Pixel Watch, allowing users to switch between the larger watch and the Fitbit Air for different activities or nighttime wear.

Google also announced the launch of Google Health Coach, a Gemini‑powered all‑in‑one fitness trainer, sleep coach, and health‑wellness advisor. Available to Google Health Premium subscribers, the coach can:
