Google can now vibe-code you an Android app

Google is announcing a major upgrade to one of its vibe‑coding platforms: beginning today, you can use AI Studio to build native Android apps.

With Google AI Studio, you can prompt your idea for an app and preview it with an embedded Android emulator. When you want to test it on an actual device, you can connect an Android phone to your computer and install the app directly. In the future, the platform will also let you invite app testers from AI Studio.

The initial release focuses on personal‑utility apps rather than any possible app idea.
