GeForce NOW at GDC 2024

GeForce NOW is showcasing its service at this week’s Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco. While developers shape the future of gaming, GeForce NOW is delivering that future to gamers with smoother performance, easier game discovery, and a fresh lineup of blockbuster titles in the cloud.

🎮 Game Discoverability

  • New in‑app labels for connected accounts (Xbox Game Pass & Ubisoft+).
  • Instantly see which titles are already available through linked subscriptions, letting members jump straight into games they own.

🕶️ Virtual‑Reality Upgrade

  • Supported VR devices now stream at 90 fps (up from 60 fps).
  • The higher frame rate provides a more responsive and immersive VR experience.

🔗 Account Linking Enhancements

  • Following the Gaijin single sign‑on announced at CES 2024, GOG account linking and game‑library syncing are coming soon.

📚 Library Growth

  • New releases joining the cloud at launch:
    • CONTROL Resonant
    • Samson: A Tyndalston Story
  • Select Xbox titles will be added to the Install‑to‑Play library.

🆕 New Games This Week

A lineup of five fresh titles is available, including:

  • Capcom – Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection
  • The latest update for Fortnite

Stay tuned for more announcements as GeForce NOW continues to expand its cloud‑gaming ecosystem.

Gaming Is Buzzing

GeForce NOW is rolling into GDC with an easier way to keep track of titles, performance upgrades, and a growing lineup of major games ready to stream at launch.

In‑App Labels

Keeping track of which game lives on which service can be tricky. In‑App labels—coming soon to GeForce NOW for connected subscriptions—will make it simple for members to know exactly what they can play.

  • Once a member links an Xbox Game Pass or Ubisoft+ account, clear labels appear directly on the game art inside the GeForce NOW app.
  • This eliminates guesswork and shows at a glance which titles are available from each subscription service.

VR Upgrade

Virtual reality is also getting a boost. Starting Thursday, March 19, VR devices supported by GeForce NOW—including Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest, and Pico—will stream at 90 fps for Ultimate members (up from 60 fps). The higher frame rate improves smoothness, responsiveness, and realism, whether you’re chasing enemies through neon‑lit streets or exploring alien worlds.
