Overview
Elgato’s Stream Deck helped popularize macro pads among livestreamers and desk‑bound creators. After announcing a suite of new Stream Deck devices last year, the company is kicking off 2026 with the Stream Deck + XL, a larger version of the existing Stream Deck XL, alongside a collection of new audio accessories aimed at improving sound mixing for livestreams.
New Features
- Button count: Increases from 32 to 36 customizable buttons.
- Touch strip: Provides visual feedback while making adjustments.
- Six dials: Offer additional tactile control options.
All controls are fully customizable. The touch strip lets users see real‑time feedback as they adjust settings. The device remains useful for quick actions such as ending a stream or queuing a transition. Paired with the new Wave XLR Pro audio interface, the Stream Deck + XL can also serve as a straightforward tool for sound mixing.

The XLR Dock MK. 2 adds an XLR input to the Stream Deck +. It is exclusively compatible with the Stream Deck + and provides:
- 80 dB of clean gain
- 48 V phantom power
