TL;DR

- You’ll be able to order your Communicator in Q3, with shipments going to reservation holders in Q4.
Communicator Update
CES 2026 showcased many intriguing tech products, but few captured as much attention as the Clicks Communicator. Breaking away from the traditional slab smartphone, this BlackBerry‑like Android handset is marketed as the best phone for communication. While many details remain unknown, Clicks has now released an email update outlining its roadmap and estimated shipping dates (via Droid Life).
Roadmap
- May: First glimpses of the Communicator experience—software, interface, and design decisions that give it a distinct feel.
- June: Working units will be available for demonstration, as promised for Q2.
- Q3: Certifications and testing. Users will be invited to configure their orders, selecting color, keyboard layout, and bonus covers (including limited‑edition colors).
- Q4: Production and shipping to reservation holders.
In summary, a deep dive into the UI is expected next month, followed by prototype demos in June. Pre‑orders and customization options should open in Q3, with shipments beginning in Q4 for those who reserved a unit.
Competition
As Clicks continues development, the Communicator faces competition from similar devices. Unihertz recently launched a Kickstarter for the Titan 2 Elite, a comparable 5G keyboard phone (Android Authority coverage).
