Tensor G6 Leak Details

An early, limited leak around Google’s upcoming Pixel 11 series offers some details about the Tensor G6 chipset, with a mix of good news and bad news.

Mystic Leaks posted an addendum to the recent Pixel 11 Pro Fold wallpaper leak. The animated video variants mentioned in the coverage are now available through this latest leak, which also reiterates the “Lunar Tides” and “Tidal Swirl” names. The comments reveal further details.

GPU

The Tensor G6 appears to use an Imagination/PowerVR C‑Series CXTP‑48‑1536 GPU. This GPU was referenced in previous leaks and dates back to 2021, making it an outdated choice that may disappoint enthusiasts. It’s unclear whether Google will use a newer variant, but the current information points to the same older setup.

CPU

The CPU upgrades look promising. While the exact core configuration is obfuscated, the leak suggests the Tensor G6 includes:

  • At least one ARM C1‑Ultra core at 4.11 GHz
  • Four C1‑Pro cores at 3.38 GHz
  • Two additional C1‑Pro cores at 2.65 GHz

ARM introduced its C1 cores in the second half of 2025, and they are also used in MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset.

For comparison, the Tensor G5 uses a 1 + 5 + 2 setup with Cortex‑X4, Cortex‑A725, and Cortex‑A520 cores. The C1‑Pro cores are more powerful than the A725, and even the lower‑clocked C1‑Pro cores outperform the A520 (which are comparable to C1‑Nano cores that Google is not using). Prior reporting suggested a 1 + 6 configuration, indicating Google may be using just one C1‑Ultra core, with better power efficiency from the GPU.

Pixel 11 Codenames

The screenshot also mentions the codenames:

  • Cubs – Pixel 11
  • Grizzly – Pixel 11 Pro
  • Kodiak – Pixel 11 Pro XL
