Netflix’s popular Formula 1: Drive to Survive docuseries premiered its latest season today, and Apple TV subscribers in the US have access to the full season thanks to a deal announced yesterday.

Formula 1: Drive to Survive season 8 now available for Apple TV subscribers

Kicking off a five‑year partnership, Apple TV is now the US streaming home for all Formula 1 races. The first race takes place next weekend on March 7.

Ahead of the season’s start, Apple has struck a unique deal with Netflix. As we reported yesterday, Apple will be streaming the latest season of Netflix’s popular Drive to Survive series, and in exchange an upcoming F1 race will stream on Netflix. In both cases, the content will be available simultaneously across Apple TV and Netflix.

Now the brand‑new season is officially available for Apple TV subscribers. You can stream the whole eight‑episode season here via Apple’s TV app.

The new episodes cover the 2025 F1 season, offering a great way to get caught up on the latest F1 happenings ahead of the first 2026 race next week.

If you watch Drive to Survive on Apple TV, you’ll notice that the series still has the standard Netflix intro at the start, and a small, persistent Netflix logo appears in the top‑right corner throughout.

It’s not every day that streaming services share content with each other, but with Apple making a big push to promote the new F1 season, this deal makes a lot of sense.

Will you watch the new Drive to Survive season on Apple TV? Let us know in the comments.

Apple TV is available for $12.99 per month, or you can get it discounted through the Apple One bundle.
