Apple Seeds Third Betas of iOS 26.4 and iPadOS 26.4 to Developers

Apple today seeded the third betas of the upcoming iOS 26.4 and iPadOS 26.4 updates to developers for testing purposes, arriving a week after the first beta was released.

Registered developers can download the betas from the Settings app on the iPhone or iPad by going to General → Software Update.

- Playlist Playground in Apple Music lets you generate songs for any idea, mood, emotion, or activity using a text‑based prompt.
- Concerts Near You helps you discover local shows.
- Redesigned album and playlist pages with full‑page artwork.
- Apple Podcasts gains native video podcasting capabilities, allowing creators to produce, distribute, and monetize video episodes that integrate with existing recommendations and editorial suggestions.
- End‑to‑end encryption testing for RCS (Rich Communication Services) to eventually bring full encryption to text conversations between Android and iPhone users.
