Amazon Acquires Oprah Winfrey’s Podcast

• Oprah Winfrey’s video podcast Book Club and Favorite Things are moving to Amazon.
• Starting in July, The Oprah Podcast will release new episodes twice per week (up from once) and will be available on Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music, Audible, and Fire TV.
• The show will continue to appear on YouTube and other streaming platforms.
• It will join Amazon’s Wondery roster of celebrity‑hosted shows, including New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, and Baby, this is Keke Palmer.
• Amazon previously reorganized Wondery, retaining its creator‑led programming.
