강원특별자치도가 의료 인공지능(AI) 산업 육성을 위한 대형 프로젝트에 본격 착수한다. (재)원주의료기기산업진흥원은 과학기술정보통신부가 추진하는 ‘강원 의료AX산업 실증허브 조성 사업’ 설명회를 오는 11일 서울 양재동 엘타워에서 개최한다.

이번 설명회는 의료 데이터와 AI를 결합한 의료 AX(AI 전환) 기술을 실제 의료 현장에 적용하고 검증하기 위한 ‘암 특화 의료 AX 하위과제’ 공모를 알리기 위해 마련됐다. 진흥원은 사업 추진 방향과 세부 과제 내용을 공개하고, 참여를 희망하는 기업 및 의료기관과 협력 체계를 구축할 계획이다.

이번 공모는 실증·사업화 지원 과제 3개와 실증 환경 조성 위탁 과제 1개 등 총 4개 과제로 구성된다. 폐암, 간암, 대장암, 유방암, 위암, 자궁경부암, 갑상선암 등 7대 암종 가운데 올해는 지역 특성과 사업 기간을 고려해 ‘폐암’을 중심으로 사업을 추진한다.

진단부터 관리까지…의료 AI 실증 거점 구축

‘강원 의료AX산업 실증허브 조성 사업’은 2026년부터 2030년까지 5년간 총 450억원 규모로 추진된다. 이 가운데 국비는 300억원이 투입된다. 사업은 암 환자의 진단·치료·회복·관리 전 주기를 대상으로 한다. AI 기반 의료 서비스를 실제 현장에 적용하고 검증하기 위해 ▲AI 어시스턴트 ▲의료 로보틱스 ▲엣지 AX 등 3대 실증 축과 데이터 기반 실증 환경 구축을 핵심으로 한다.

강원도는 이번 사업을 통해 기존 의료기기 제조 중심 산업 구조를 넘어 의료 데이터와 AI를 기반으로 한 미래형 의료 산업 생태계를 구축한다는 구상이다.

김영성 원주의료기기산업진흥원 원장은 “이번 사업은 강원이 제조 중심 산업을 넘어 데이터와 AI 기반 의료 AX 산업으로 도약하기 위한 중요한 출발점”이라며 “대한민국 의료 AI 전환을 선도하는 글로벌 실증 거점으로 성장할 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.

사업 참여를 희망하는 기업과 기관은 오는 19일까지 신청할 수 있다.

Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province is launching a large-scale project to foster the medical artificial intelligence (AI) industry. The Wonju Medical Device Industry Promotion Agency will hold a briefing session on the ‘Gangwon Medical AX Industry Demonstration Hub Establishment Project,’ promoted by the Ministry of Science and ICT, at the L Tower in Yangjae-dong, Seoul, on the 11th.

This briefing session was organized to announce the call for proposals for the ‘Cancer-Specialized Medical AX Sub-project,’ which aims to apply and verify Medical AX (AI Transformation) technology—combining medical data and AI—in actual medical settings. The Agency plans to disclose the project’s direction and detailed task contents, and establish a cooperative framework with companies and medical institutions wishing to participate.

This call for proposals consists of a total of four projects, including three projects for demonstration and commercialization support and one commissioned project for creating a demonstration environment. Among the seven major cancer types—lung cancer, liver cancer, colorectal cancer, breast cancer, stomach cancer, cervical cancer, and thyroid cancer—this year the project will focus on ‘lung cancer,’ taking into account regional characteristics and the project period.

From diagnosis to management… Establishing a medical AI demonstration hub

The ‘Gangwon Medical AX Industry Demonstration Hub Establishment Project’ will be implemented over five years from 2026 to 2030 with a total budget of 45 billion won. Of this amount, 30 billion won will be funded by the state. The project covers the entire cycle of cancer patients, from diagnosis and treatment to recovery and management. To apply and verify AI-based medical services in the field, the project focuses on establishing a data-based demonstration environment and three major demonstration axes: AI Assistant, Medical Robotics, and Edge AX.

Gangwon Province plans to use this project to move beyond the existing medical device manufacturing-centered industrial structure and establish a future-oriented medical industry ecosystem based on medical data and AI.

Kim Young-sung, President of the Wonju Medical Device Industry Promotion Agency, said, “This project is an important starting point for Gangwon to leap beyond manufacturing-centered industries to a data and AI-based medical AX industry,” adding, “We will spare no support to help it grow into a global demonstration hub leading Korea’s medical AI transformation.”

Companies and organizations wishing to participate in the project can apply until the 19th.

江原特別自治道が医療人工知能（AI）産業育成のための大型プロジェクトに本格着手する。 （財）原州料機器産業振興院は、科学技術情報通信部が推進する「江原医療AX産業実証ハブ造成事業」説明会を来る11日、ソウルのヤンジェドンエルタワーで開催する。

今回の説明会は、医療データとAIを結合した医療AX(AI転換)技術を実際の医療現場に適用して検証するための「がん特化医療AXサブ課題」公募を知らせるために設けられた。振興院は、事業推進方向と細部課題内容を公開し、参加を希望する企業や医療機関と協力体制を構築する計画だ。

今回の公募は実証・事業化支援課題3つと実証環境づくり委託課題1つなど計4つの課題で構成される。肺がん、肝がん、大腸がん、乳がん、胃がん、子宮頸がん、甲状腺がんなど7大がんのうち、今年は地域特性と事業期間を考慮して「肺がん」を中心に事業を推進する。

診断から管理まで…医療AI実証拠点の構築

「江原医療AX産業実証ハブ造成事業」は2026年から2030年まで5年間で合計450億ウォン規模に推進される。このうち国費は300億ウォンが投入される。事業はがん患者の診断・治療・回復・管理前周期を対象とする。 AIベースの医療サービスを実際の現場に適用して検証するため、▲AIアシスタント▲医療ロボティクス▲エッジAXなど3大実証軸とデータ基盤実証環境構築を核心とする。

江原道は今回の事業を通じて、既存の医療機器製造中心の産業構造を超え、医療データとAIを基盤とした未来型医療産業エコシステムを構築するという構想だ。

江原道正在启动一项大型项目，以促进医疗人工智能（AI）产业的发展。原州医疗器械产业振兴院将于11日在首尔良才洞L大厦举行“江原医疗AX产业示范中心建设项目”情况介绍会，该项目由韩国科学技术信息通信部推动。

本次简报会旨在宣布“癌症专科医疗AX子项目”的提案征集，该项目旨在将结合医疗数据和人工智能的医疗AX（AI转型）技术应用于实际医疗环境中并进行验证。该机构计划公布项目方向和详细任务内容，并与有意参与的企业和医疗机构建立合作框架。

本次项目征集共包含四个项目，其中三个为示范和商业化支持项目，一个为创建示范环境的委托项目。在七大癌症类型（肺癌、肝癌、结直肠癌、乳腺癌、胃癌、宫颈癌和甲状腺癌）中，今年的项目将重点关注“肺癌”，并充分考虑区域特点和项目周期。

从诊断到治疗……建立医疗人工智能示范中心

“江原医疗AX产业示范中心建设项目”将于2026年至2030年实施，为期五年，总预算为450亿韩元，其中300亿韩元由国家出资。该项目涵盖癌症患者的整个生命周期，从诊断、治疗到康复和管理。为了在实践中应用和验证基于人工智能的医疗服务，该项目着重构建数据驱动的示范环境，并围绕人工智能助手、医疗机器人和边缘AX三大示范方向展开。

江原道计划利用该项目超越现有的以医疗器械制造为中心的产业结构，建立基于医疗数据和人工智能的未来型医疗产业生态系统。

原州医疗器械产业振兴院院长金英成表示：“该项目是江原道从以制造业为中心的产业跃升至以数据和人工智能为基础的医疗人工智能产业的重要起点。”他补充道：“我们将不遗余力地支持该项目发展成为引领韩国医疗人工智能转型的全球示范中心。”

希望参与该项目的公司和组织可以在 19 日之前申请。

La province autonome spéciale de Gangwon lance un projet d’envergure pour promouvoir l’industrie de l’intelligence artificielle (IA) médicale. L’Agence de promotion de l’industrie des dispositifs médicaux de Wonju tiendra une séance d’information sur le « Projet de création d’un pôle de démonstration de l’industrie de l’IA médicale de Gangwon », promu par le ministère des Sciences et des TIC, à la tour L de Yangjae-dong, à Séoul, le 11.

Cette séance d’information a été organisée pour annoncer l’appel à propositions du sous-projet « Medical AX spécialisé en cancérologie », qui vise à appliquer et à valider la technologie Medical AX (transformation par l’IA) – combinant données médicales et IA – en situation réelle. L’Agence prévoit de présenter les orientations et le détail des tâches du projet, et d’établir un cadre de coopération avec les entreprises et les établissements de santé souhaitant y participer.

Cet appel à propositions comprend quatre projets : trois projets de démonstration et de soutien à la commercialisation et un projet commandité visant à créer un environnement de démonstration. Parmi les sept principaux types de cancer (cancer du poumon, du foie, colorectal, du sein, de l’estomac, du col de l’utérus et de la thyroïde), le projet de cette année se concentrera sur le cancer du poumon, compte tenu des spécificités régionales et de la période couverte par le projet.

Du diagnostic à la prise en charge… Création d’un centre de démonstration d’IA médicale

Le projet de création d’un pôle de démonstration de l’industrie médicale AX de Gangwon sera mis en œuvre sur cinq ans, de 2026 à 2030, avec un budget total de 45 milliards de wons, dont 30 milliards seront financés par l’État. Ce projet couvre l’ensemble du parcours de soins des patients atteints de cancer, du diagnostic au traitement, en passant par la convalescence et le suivi. Afin d’appliquer et de valider les services médicaux basés sur l’IA sur le terrain, le projet vise à établir un environnement de démonstration fondé sur les données et s’articule autour de trois axes principaux : l’assistant IA, la robotique médicale et l’informatique de périphérie AX.

La province de Gangwon prévoit d’utiliser ce projet pour dépasser la structure industrielle actuelle centrée sur la fabrication de dispositifs médicaux et établir un écosystème industriel médical tourné vers l’avenir, basé sur les données médicales et l’IA.

Kim Young-sung, président de l’Agence de promotion de l’industrie des dispositifs médicaux de Wonju, a déclaré : « Ce projet constitue un point de départ important pour permettre à Gangwon de passer d’une industrie axée sur la fabrication à une industrie médicale AX basée sur les données et l’IA », ajoutant : « Nous ne ménagerons aucun soutien pour l’aider à devenir un centre de démonstration mondial, moteur de la transformation de l’IA médicale en Corée. »

Les entreprises et organisations souhaitant participer au projet peuvent déposer leur candidature jusqu’au 19.
