TL;DR

  • YouTube TV and Allen Media Group have renewed their carriage deal.
  • The deal keeps The Weather Channel and other AMG networks on the service.

YouTube TV has been navigating several high‑profile carriage disputes recently, the most notable being a blackout of Disney‑owned channels last year. To preempt another potential dispute, YouTube TV has now reached an agreement with Allen Media Group (AMG), ensuring that several networks remain available on the platform.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that YouTube TV and AMG have renewed their carriage agreement, meaning users won’t experience a lengthy blackout like the one that occurred when the YouTube TV‑Disney deal expired. AMG owns The Weather Channel, Comedy.TV, Justice Central, Recipe.TV, Automotive.TV, and additional networks.
