Xiaomi likes to bring cars to Barcelona; the company gave us the first glimpse of its SU7 Ultra supercar during last year’s MWC in March.
Concept Reveal
This year, Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo, a hypercar designed to slice through the air—Xiaomi describes it as “sculpted by the wind.” The concept will be displayed on the MWC show floor in Barcelona on March 2, where more details about its powertrain, acceleration, battery, and other specifications are expected.

Aerodynamics
Xiaomi focused heavily on airflow, employing wind tunnels, channels, and even a moving component on the car’s underside to improve efficiency.

The wheels feature unique covers that are magnetically fixed in place, preventing rotation and reducing drag.
Interior Design
Inside, the traditional seats are replaced by a cocoon‑shaped sofa. The steering interface resembles an X‑wing with five tiny displays, some of which double as contextual buttons.

The cockpit is a two‑seater configuration, emphasizing the driver’s immersion rather than passenger capacity.

Future Plans
Xiaomi hinted at a gaming console or cockpit replica shaped like the car’s interior, allowing enthusiasts to experience the “cocoon” in a home setting.
Open Questions
