Spotify is narrating magazine articles now

New narrated article format

Spotify is launching a new format for narrated long‑form articles, adding to its existing lineup of music, podcasts, and audiobooks. Starting today, more than 650 articles from a range of publications will be available in English in regions where Spotify’s audiobooks are offered.

Publications included

• Rolling Stone
• The Atlantic
• Vogue
• Variety
• Billboard
• Vibe
• GQ
• Wired
• Vanity Fair
• Pitchfork

All narrated articles are under two hours long and count toward the monthly audiobook allowance for Premium users. Spotify notes that free users who don’t have a subscription can also access the content, though with certain limitations.
