Design
Sony’s latest flagship, the Xperia 1 VIII, arrives with a major hardware redesign. While it retains familiar Xperia traits—larger top and bottom bezels for front‑facing speakers, a taller aspect ratio, and a dedicated shutter button—the new square camera module positioned on the top‑left gives the phone a distinct look.
The device is offered in four color variants: Graphite Black, Garnet Red, Iolite Silver, and Native Gold. The Gold finish is exclusive to the 1 TB storage model; the other colors ship with 256 GB of storage. Sony describes the palette as part of its “Ore” design language, featuring a rough, stone‑like texture.
