We recently hosted a hundred builders at the new Google DeepMind Singapore office for a vibe coding session featuring Google AI Studio and the Gemini API. Below are some of the cool projects that were built.

HireCoach – Interactive Job Interview App

Fridge Forager utilizes Gemini’s multimodal abilities to understand the contents of your fridge and suggest creative recipes based on available ingredients. For the demo, we simulated a Singaporean fridge using Nano Banana Pro, which was a crowd‑pleaser.

Gemini Flight Commander – Tactical Drone Simulator

Gemini Flight Commander is an immersive drone simulator that lets users pilot through any global location from a first‑person view, receiving real‑time intelligence reports generated by Gemini. It integrates the Gemini API for geocoding, location summaries, web searches, and Google Maps grounding.
