If, in the future, LLM systems used in enterprise, finance, healthcare, or public infrastructures experience incidents that are:
- Difficult to trace responsibility for
- Difficult to identify root causes of
- Difficult to explain using traditional information‑security models
then the true origin may lie not in model capability, hallucination, or prompt attacks, but in the semantic field.
A Fundamental Fact: Semantic Fields Will Inevitably Form
Once an LLM is placed into any real system, it cannot operate in a “semantic vacuum.” Even without explicit design, the following elements automatically shape a stable judgment environment:

Semantic fields are risky not because they exist, but because they are:

Once RAG carries institutional semantics, mainstream architectures typically let LLMs act as synthesizers and explainers, creating a structural condition where the model becomes the de‑facto sole interpreter. When authoritative texts enter the semantic supply chain and interpretation power centralises, a critical question arises:
A Question That Must Be Answered
Who is responsible for “interpretation security”?
In most organisations today, there is no such role, mechanism, or audit object. Semantic fields are forming—this is why the memo exists.
Common Misconceptions
7.1 “LLMs exist only in vector space, not semantic fields”
- Category error.
- Vector space describes implementation; using it to deny system phenomena is like saying “CPUs are electrical signals, therefore operating systems do not exist.”
