Second macOS Tahoe 26.4 Beta Now Available for Developers

Developers can download the macOS Tahoe 26.4 update by opening the System Settings app, selecting General, then Software Update. Beta Updates must be enabled, and a free developer account is required.

New features in macOS Tahoe 26.4

• Charge Limit – lets users set a maximum charge level between 80 % and 100 %.
• Compact tab layout – Safari returns to the compact tab layout that was available in earlier versions of macOS Tahoe.

Rosetta support phase‑out

Apple Silicon Macs running apps that still rely on Rosetta will see warnings about the upcoming end of Rosetta support. After macOS Tahoe 27, Rosetta will be removed, and all apps must be updated before that release.
