TL;DR
- With the Galaxy S26 series, Samsung is introducing Now Nudge suggestions.
- Functioning much like Magic Cue on the Pixel 10, Now Nudge uses AI to find useful information based on context.
- Now Nudge suggestions are supported by major messaging apps, including Samsung Messages and WhatsApp.
Introduction
The Galaxy S26 family is now official, and as has been perfectly clear from all of Samsung’s teasers leading up to today’s launch, AI features are a huge part of what the phones have to offer. We’ve been hearing about upgrades to things like Now Bar and Now Brief, but Samsung also has some all‑new AI tricks ready to debut, including the introduction of the very Pixel Magic Cue-like Now Nudge.
How Now Nudge Works
Now Nudge functions in much the same way as Magic Cue on the Pixel 10 series. The AI watches what you’re doing on your handset and uses that context to proactively pull up useful information. For example:
- If you’re texting about a recent trip and mention photos, Now Nudge might find a few of those shots and suggest you send one.
- If you’re scheduling a meetup, Now Nudge can check your calendar and see if you’re free.

Availability and Compatibility
Now Nudge is capable of offering text‑message prompts with apps including Samsung Messages, Google Messages, Google Chat, WhatsApp, Line, Signal, and Instagram. Samsung is introducing Now Nudge with the Galaxy S26 series, and no plans have been announced to expand access to older devices.
Considerations
As we saw with Magic Cue, implementing a system like this can be challenging. It may be worth spending more time using Now Nudge before forming a judgment about its success.
