New Samsung ad hints at “privacy display” for Galaxy S26

Samsung has released a new advertisement for its upcoming Galaxy S26 launch that all‑but confirms rumors of a display with a built‑in privacy mode. Leaked videos suggest the feature could completely black out content from specific apps—or even parts of the screen—when viewed from an angle.

The ad shows a woman reading a racy romance novel on a subway while curious passengers glance over her shoulder. An overlay highlights a quick tap of a “Zero‑peeking privacy” toggle, which instantly blacks out the titillating content for the nosy onlookers.

That might sound similar to existing privacy filters, which have been available as after‑market accessories, but this implementation would be integrated directly into the phone’s display.
