Gameplay
- Features stronger enemy variants than the main campaign.
- Offers five difficulty ranks.
- Includes a suite of “enhancer abilities” for Leon that power up as he eliminates zombies.
- Takes place in locations already visited during the campaign, providing familiar settings.
Update and platform support
The same update also brings basic bug fixes across all platforms and adds PC support for the DualSense controller’s adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, and motion sensor.
Release and sales
Resident Evil Requiem launched at the end of February on PC, PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S. It sold more than 5 million copies in its first week. Capcom first teased the Leon Must Die Forever mode in March, alongside an announcement of an upcoming story expansion that will take longer to develop.
