Overview

Porsche will start selling an all‑electric Cayenne Coupe in late summer, signaling the German automaker’s confidence in continued market demand for EVs.

The Cayenne Coupe EV – a four‑door model despite the “coupe” name – joins the upcoming all‑electric Cayenne lineup, which includes the base Cayenne Electric, Cayenne S Electric, and Cayenne Turbo Electric.

When Porsche introduced a gasoline‑powered Cayenne Coupe in 2019, it captured 20 % of Cayenne sales within a year and now accounts for about 40 % of total Cayenne sales, reaching as high as 90 % in some markets. Those figures suggest the electric version could be a strong seller even with its six‑figure price tag.

The Cayenne Coupe Electric will be sold alongside the gasoline and hybrid variants well beyond 2030, giving Porsche valuable data on consumer preferences for the coupe body style.

Pricing and Variants

When it launches, the Cayenne Coupe EV will be offered in three trims:

TrimStarting Price*
Cayenne Coupe Electric (base)$113,800
Cayenne S Coupe Electric$131,200
Cayenne Turbo Coupe Electric$168,000

*Delivery fee of $2,350 is not included.

Optional equipment such as the lightweight sport package (carbon roof, performance tires, and motorsports‑inspired interior) can raise the final price.

All variants share an 800‑volt powertrain, air suspension, a new windshield, and an adaptive rear spoiler. They also feature the North American Charging Standard (NACS) port popularized by Tesla, plus an additional AC charging port.

Performance and Specs

TrimPowerTorque0‑60 mphTop Speed
Base Coupe EV435 hp615 lb‑ft4.5 s143 mph
S Coupe EV(higher than base – exact figures not disclosed)
Turbo Coupe EV1,139 hp1,106 lb‑ft2.4 s162 mph

The turbo version’s output puts it in the same league as the Tesla Model S Plaid, Lucid Air Sapphire, and Porsche Taycan Turbo GT.

Range and Charging

Porsche has not released EPA range estimates for the Coupe EVs. Early real‑world testing suggests a range of roughly 360 miles on a single charge, comparable to other electric Cayenne models. Choosing larger, higher‑rolling‑resistance tires could reduce range by about 10 %.

All models support fast charging via the NACS connector and standard AC charging.
