Overview
BMW announced its 2027 7‑series lineup, describing it as “the most extensive model update ever undertaken.” The range includes two i7 electric sedans, a plug‑in hybrid, two internal‑combustion models, and a V8‑powered M model, all built on BMW’s “Neue Klasse” platform and featuring a new design language.
Design
- Exterior: BMW calls the new luxury design “monolithic,” highlighted by minimalist crystal headlights and the light‑up kidney “Iconic Glow” grille.
- Body form: A new “character line” creates a boat‑tail‑like silhouette in the three‑quarter view.
- Paint: The “Individual Dual‑Finish” option combines a matte lower section with a manually applied metallic upper finish for a discreet yet elegant look.

- Screen: A 31.3‑inch 8K BMW Theater Screen provides rear‑seat passengers with 8K streaming, gaming, and Zoom calls.
