New location‑based features for Pixel At a Glance
Google is working on two location‑based features for the Pixel At a Glance widget: Passes nearby and Restaurant insights.

APK Insight
In this “APK Insight” post we decompiled the latest versions of Android System Intelligence (B.23) and Settings Services (1.1.0.885985347) that Google uploaded to the Play Store. Decompiling APKs lets us see code hints about possible future features. Google may or may not ship these features, and our interpretation may be imperfect.
Restaurant insights
The first upcoming feature will show Restaurant insights such as “Suggested menu items and insights based on your location.” Google is likely leveraging its Google Maps review corpus for this capability. The exact UI after tapping the At a Glance widget is still unknown.
Passes nearby
The second feature, Passes nearby, will let you “quickly access passes from your Google Wallet based on your location.” This echoes a brief tease during the Android 12 Material You demo, where At a Glance recognized a supermarket visit and offered the relevant membership pass.

Google Wallet passes already support sending notifications when you’re near a location, but surfacing them directly in At a Glance on Pixel devices would make them more prominent.
