Using @copilot in pull request comments

You can ask Copilot coding agent to make changes in any pull request by mentioning @copilot. This works in pull requests created by Copilot and in pull requests created by humans.

Copilot operates in its own development environment, powered by GitHub Actions, where it can make changes, build your project, and run tests.

Selecting a model

After adding the @copilot mention, a model picker appears in the bottom‑left of the comment box, allowing you to select a model from the Copilot coding agent’s supported models.

Note: This functionality is currently limited to github.com and works only for pull request comments, not pull request review comments. Support for GitHub Mobile and other comment types is coming soon.
