Xiaomi 17 Ultra: New camera king?

Xiaomi’s Ultra line continues its tradition of top‑tier camera hardware. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra sports:

• Main camera: 50 MP 1‑inch sensor (Light Fusion 1050L, LOFIC)
• Ultrawide: 50 MP ISOCELL JN5
• Telephoto: 200 MP variable‑zoom sensor (ISOCELL HPE) with optical zoom from 75 mm to 100 mm (~3.1×–4.1×) and up to ~17.2× lossless zoom

Video capabilities include 4K @ 120 fps with Dolby Vision HDR, 8K @ 30 fps, and 4K @ 120 fps via the ACES standard.

Other specifications

• 6.9‑inch 120 Hz OLED display (2,608 × 1,200, LTPO, Shield Glass 3.0)
• 90 W wired charging, 50 W wireless charging
• 6,000 mAh battery (down from the Chinese 6,800 mAh version)

A Leica edition, dubbed the Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi, will also be sold globally. It features a rotating dial around the rear cameras for zoom control.
