Overview

Lenovo showcased a modular ThinkBook concept at MWC 2026, dubbed the ThinkBook Modular AI PC Concept. It is a 14‑inch productivity laptop that features two plug‑and‑play interchangeable ports and a second 14‑inch display that attaches magnetically to the rear of the lid.

Design and Features

  • Modular ports – Two interchangeable ports can be swapped out depending on the user’s needs.
  • Secondary display – A detachable 14‑inch screen magnetically attaches to the back of the lid. It can be propped up on a magnetic kickstand (stored under the laptop) and connected via USB‑C.
  • Dual‑screen configuration – The keyboard/trackpad deck can be removed and replaced with the second screen, turning the device into a dual‑screen laptop that is operated without a built‑in keyboard.
