Lenovo’s Foldable Gaming Handheld
Lenovo’s upcoming gaming device, dubbed the Legion Go Fold, is a shapeshifting handheld that can also function as a Windows laptop. The device features a POLED display that folds at a central hinge, allowing it to transition between two screen sizes:
- Folded: 7.7‑inch display
- Unfolded: 11.6‑inch display
The design supports four distinct usage modes:
- Handheld (folded) – Controllers attached while the screen is folded.
- Handheld (unfolded) – Controllers attached with the screen fully opened.
- Vertical split‑screen – The unfolded display can be used in a vertical orientation for multitasking.
- Laptop mode – The device can be docked to a keyboard, turning it into a traditional laptop.
The flexibility of the Legion Go Fold aims to combine the portability of a handheld gaming PC with the productivity of a full‑size laptop.
