Following the March 2026 update for Google Pixel Watch devices, a number of users are reporting that their SpO2 (blood oxygen) and skin‑temperature readings have vanished from the Fitbit app.

The Pixel Watch lineup can help build a comprehensive view of various health metrics, with two of those being SpO2 – more commonly known as blood oxygen – and skin temperature. These metrics can be helpful in determining early signs that you might be getting sick. They can’t replace a doctor’s diagnosis, but they’re useful for spotting trends that are out of the ordinary for you.

However, these readings aren’t working for some Pixel Watch owners.

Following the March 2026 Pixel Watch update that rolled out last week, a considerable number of owners have taken to Reddit threads and Google/Fitbit forums about missing SpO2 and skin‑temperature metrics:

The data is collected overnight, so there’s no way to manually check if it’s working beyond sleeping with the smartwatch on your wrist. This does not appear to be a server‑side issue, as users (including the author) are still seeing these readings work on prior Pixel Watch software builds.

Some users report that clearing the Fitbit app’s cache and resetting their Pixel Watch resolves the problem.
