도구공간, ISO 9001·14001·45001 인증 획득
도구공간은 품질·환경·안전보건 관리 분야 국제 표준인 ISO 9001(품질경영), ISO 14001(환경경영), ISO 45001(안전보건경영) 인증을 획득했다고 밝혔다.
이번 인증을 통해 도구공간은 품질 관리와 환경 보호, 산업 안전 관리 체계를 국제 기준에 맞게 정비하고 글로벌 사업 확장을 위한 ESG 경영 기반을 마련했다. 또한 국내외 서비스 운영 현장에서의 안정성과 서비스 신뢰도를 높일 수 있는 관리 체계도 구축했다.
도구공간은 자체 개발한 AI 기반 자율주행 순찰 로봇과 통합 관제 시스템을 경찰, 공공기관, 산업시설 등 다양한 분야에서 운영하고 있으며 현재 국내외 100여 개 현장에서 로봇 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 여러 산업 환경에서 로봇이 실제로 운영되는 만큼 품질 관리와 안전 기준의 중요성이 지속적으로 확대돼 왔다.
이에 회사는 로봇 개발·생산 과정뿐 아니라 현장 운영·유지보수 전반에 걸쳐 관리 체계를 단계적으로 개선해 왔다. 이번 ISO 인증은 이러한 운영 프로세스를 국제 표준에 맞춰 체계화한 결과라고 회사 측은 설명했다.
도구공간은 향후 ESG 경영 체계를 더욱 강화하고 서비스 운영 과정에서의 안정성과 관리 역량을 지속적으로 높여 나갈 계획이다.
김진효 도구공간 대표는 “도구공간은 로봇 기술을 개발하는 기업이면서 동시에 실제 현장에서 로봇 서비스를 직접 운영하는 기업”이라며 “현장에서 신뢰받는 서비스를 제공하기 위해 운영 기준과 관리 체계를 지속적으로 고도화해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
최근 로봇 산업에서는 공공 안전과 산업 현장에 로봇 서비스 도입이 확대되면서 품질 관리와 안전 기준을 강화하려는 기업들의 국제 인증 확보 움직임이 이어지고 있다.

Tool Space Obtains ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 Certifications
Tool Space announced that it has obtained ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 14001 (environmental management), and ISO 45001 (safety and health management) certifications, which are international standards in the fields of quality, environment, and safety‑health management.
Through this certification, Tool Space has established a foundation for ESG management for global business expansion by reorganizing its quality‑management, environmental‑protection, and industrial‑safety systems to meet international standards. It has also built a management system that enhances stability and service reliability in both domestic and international operations.
Tool Space operates its self‑developed AI‑based autonomous patrol robots and integrated control systems across various sectors—including police, public institutions, and industrial facilities—and currently provides robot services at over 100 sites worldwide. As robots are actively used in diverse industrial environments, the importance of quality control and safety standards continues to grow.
Accordingly, the company has been gradually improving its management system, covering not only robot development and production but also field operations and maintenance. The company explained that this ISO certification is the result of systematizing these operational processes to international standards.
Tool Space plans to further strengthen its ESG management system and continuously improve stability and management capabilities during service operation.
