My Experience with Blogging in the Gaming Niche

I’ve been experimenting with blogging in the gaming niche, and one challenge I keep facing is choosing topics that genuinely help readers instead of just repeating what already exists online. It’s easy to write content, but much harder to make it useful and beginner‑friendly.

While working on Clash of Clans guides, I noticed that simple explanations, clear structure, and real gameplay examples seem to perform better than overly technical posts. Players often want answers fast, especially beginners who feel overwhelmed by complex strategies.

How Do You Choose Topics?

I’m curious how other writers approach topic selection and content planning. Do you focus more on:

  • Search intent?
  • Community questions?
  • Personal experience?

What I’m Doing Now

I’m currently sharing beginner‑focused Clash of Clans content and learning as I go. I’d love to hear suggestions from experienced writers on improving clarity and engagement.
