Hisense’s new RGB Mini-LED TV is now available with Google TV for less than TCL can offer

Hisense has launched a new Google TV‑powered RGB Mini‑LED TV series that costs nearly half of comparable models from competitors such as TCL.
Overview
The UR9 series debuts with 35,000 individual RGB LEDs, providing precise, localized control of color and brightness without relying on traditional filters. While RGB Mini‑LED technology has been available for some time, it has typically been more expensive due to limited dimming zones and color accuracy challenges. Hisense’s implementation aims to deliver high performance at a more affordable price point.
Features
- AI‑enhanced picture processing – The Hi‑View AI Engine RGB (Hisense’s most powerful AI processor) continuously balances color and brightness for vivid, natural images. The AI features can be disabled for a pure, unprocessed view.
- Eye‑comfort and energy efficiency – Optimized light at the source reduces harmful blue light and improves energy usage. The panel is independently certified by TÜV Rheinland for eye comfort and Pantone® Validated for color accuracy.
- Gaming enhancements – Includes a game‑boost mode with variable refresh rate and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification.
- Operating system – Google TV serves as the main OS, featuring Gemini for voice and AI integration.
- Future updates – Dolby Vision 2 Max support is slated to arrive via an OTA update in June.
