Netflix introduces vertical video feed “Clips”

Netflix is beginning to roll out a major revamp of its mobile app, centered around a new vertical video feed called Clips. The feed lets users scroll through short clips of shows, movies, and other Netflix content, offering a mobile‑friendly way to discover new titles.

The company first tested a vertical video feed last year, noting that “we know that swiping through a vertical feed on social media apps is an easy way to browse video content.” The updated mobile UI will start rolling out on Thursday in Australia, Canada, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippines, and South Africa.
