Google’s Pixel 11 series is in the pipeline and, in the latest Android 17 beta release, we spotted a quick preview of the wallpapers set to debut on the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
Buried within the first Android 17 QPR1 Beta release, two wallpapers are sitting with references to the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. These new wallpapers show a mostly monochrome setting and another with green colors, both showcasing an aerial view of what looks like a delta – where a river meets the ocean.
The wallpaper description explains, as posted by @evowizz:
Streaming waters swirl and flow through curving, rugged landscapes.
These wallpapers, which will have video animations, are attached to “Pine” and “Midnight” internal codenames, hinting at the two color variants for Google’s next foldable. The names of each individual wallpaper are “Tidal Swirl” and “Lunar Tides,” respectively.
Prior Pixel foldables have also come in two colors, with the Pixel Fold and Pixel 9 Pro Fold both offering black and white/gold colors, while the Pixel 10 Pro Fold offered the bluish “Moonstone” and the yellow/green/gold “Jade.” Based on these wallpapers, we can expect a dark color alongside one with a green tint. Google’s default wallpapers generally align closely with the phone’s color. On Pixel 10 Pro Fold, there was a gray‑themed wallpaper used for the “Moonstone” phone, and a green‑themed wallpaper used for “Jade.” “Pine” and “Midnight” are very likely not the names of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold color variants.
The new wallpapers for Pixel 11 Pro Fold can be seen below (thumbnail files in low‑res).

Google’s Pixel 11 series is expected to debut later this year with the same lineup – a base model Pixel 11, two Pro phones, and a book‑style foldable. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold itself isn’t expected to be a major change, with the same core design that’s just a tiny bit thinner this time around.
