Android 16 QPR3 Beta 2.1 rollout
Android 16 QPR3 Beta 2.1 is rolling out to Pixel devices today, almost four weeks after the last release. Despite the version number, this is not Beta 3.
Google has indicated that the Android 17 Beta is coming soon:
Build numbers
- CP11.251209.009 – Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 6a, 7, and 7 Pro
- CP11.251209.009.A1 – All remaining devices
The previous update was CP11.251209.007.A1. Google’s release notes do not specify what has been fixed:
OTA size
- ~123 MB on a Pixel 9a
- ~98.39 MB on the Pixel 10

Supported devices & security patch
This is the January 2026 security patch and is available for all supported devices, including:
Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel Tablet, Pixel Fold, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 8a, Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Pixel 9a, Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
