Source: Android Authority

TL;DR
- Google is expanding Gmail’s upgraded AI writing tools to more Workspace and Google One AI Premium users.
- The updated “Help me write” tool now adapts to your personal writing style based on past sent emails.
- Eligible Workspace Business, Enterprise, Education, Frontline, and Google One AI Premium users are included in the rollout.
New Improvements to “Help me write”
Topic contextualization
The AI can now pull information from your Google Drive and Gmail based on the prompt you give.
For example, writing “include the budget numbers from last month’s deck” will cause the assistant to locate the relevant file or email and insert the data, eliminating the need to switch tabs.
Tone and style personalization
The tool analyzes your previously sent emails and mirrors your typical tone.
- If you usually send brief, informal messages to teammates, the draft will reflect that style.
- If you adopt a formal tone for leadership communications, the AI will adjust accordingly.
Who Gets the Rollout?
- Google Workspace Business (Starter, Standard, or Plus)
- Google Workspace Enterprise
- Google Workspace Education and Frontline users with the Gemini add‑on
- Google One AI Premium subscribers
If you belong to any of these groups, the feature should appear in your inbox soon.
Rollout Timeline
Google began the phased rollout on May 5, 2026. Depending on your account, it may take up to 15 days for the new “Help me write” improvements to become visible.
