Global Running Day Challenge coming to Apple Watch next week

June is just around the corner, and with the new month comes the next Apple Watch fitness challenge.

Global Running Day set for Wednesday, June 3

Apple Watch users will be able to complete the Global Running Day Challenge next week on Wednesday, June 3.

Completing the virtual activity challenge requires logging a running workout with at least 5 km (3.1 mi) distance.

Global Running Day Challenge participants will unlock a digital trophy as well as Fitness app stickers to mark the virtual event.

Four animated stickers include someone running in a dinosaur costume, a pair of people running together, someone running with their dog, and a colorful version of the 2026 Global Running Day Challenge award.
