Updated Trade-In Values
Apple has refreshed the average trade‑in values for several of its devices. Depending on the model and condition, you can now receive an extra $10 – $35 off a new purchase when you trade in an eligible iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, or Mac. The program has been running since 2013, the same year the iPhone 5s launched. That older model no longer has any trade‑in value, with Apple recommending recycling instead.
iPhone
All iPhone 16 models received a bump in their estimated trade‑in values:
| Model | Previous Value | New Value |

| iPhone 16 Pro Max | $685 | $695 |
| iPhone 16 Pro | $550 | $560 |
| iPhone 16 Plus | $455 | $465 |
| iPhone 16 (base) | $435 | $460 |
