Possible cause: Knox Matrix
Several users who examined their battery‑activity screenshots observed that Knox Matrix is consuming an unusually large share of power. The app appears to run continuously in the background, placing a heavy load on the CPU.
What is Knox Matrix?
Knox Matrix is part of Samsung’s security infrastructure. It helps detect threats, isolate compromised devices, and securely share credentials across Android. Because it is deeply integrated into the hardware, it cannot be easily uninstalled.
