Free Resume Bullet Rewriter (Impact-Focused)
Source: Dev.to
Why resume bullets matter
One of the hardest parts of writing a resume isn’t the formatting — it’s the bullet points.
Many resumes fail because the bullets are vague, and recruiters and ATS systems don’t respond well to that.
The Free Resume Bullet Rewriter
While job searching, I built a small free tool that rewrites weak resume bullets into clearer, impact‑focused statements.
How it works
- Enter your role and the current bullet point.
- (Optional) Provide the target job description.
- Click “Build prompt.”
- Paste the generated prompt into ChatGPT.
- Copy the rewritten bullet and tweak as needed.
The tool generates a structured prompt that encourages ChatGPT to produce stronger bullets that:
- Use action verbs
- Focus on outcomes
- Include metrics where possible
No account is required.
